Friday Five Day
1. Would you consider yourself an organized person? Why or why not? Organized in terms of being able to keep things on track, projects etc, yes. Things at work are typically really organized because I have the time and need to be… things at home sometimes not so much. So, inherently, I’d say I am a very organized person just sometimes I have different priorities.
2. Do you keep some type of planner, organizer, calendar, etc. with you, and do you use it regularly? At work I have a notebook that everything goes in, and my Outlook calendar tracks all my meetings etc. At home I use my Outlook calendar occasionally to remind myself of events in the future, but I generally just use my head outside of that.
3. Would you say that your desk is organized right now? At work, very much so. At home, not the least bit. It’s a huge mess. It’s back to that priority thing
4. Do you alphabetize CDs, books, and DVDs, or does it not matter? I don’t even know where any actual CDs are as we have everything in mp3, we don’t own a single DVD, and books are on the shelf based on size and then topic somewhat – in that the management textbooks are basically together, the dissent books are together. I wouldn’t say I’m normally an alphabetizer, no
5. What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever had to organize? Nothing comes to mind. Our wedding was a big-ish event I suppose, but I didn’t consider it hard. Actually, lots of things take a long time or have lots of things that need to be done, but aren’t necessarily *hard*.
