Over the past few months I’ve been pulling together the business plan for my newest venture. My mind races with possibilities, I tell people in half completed sentences what it is that I’ll be doing, and when people say they can’t wait to hear the full details I reply that neither can I.

I’ve had many streams of thought on the same topic… so many ideas and plans in the same areas, trying to figure out how to bring them together. I’ve been completely moving forward, and yet struggling on really solidifying the exact details so I can begin actual work instead of the endless brainstorming and planning I’ve been doing.

Then,  I was reading through one of the business blogs I frequent when one sentence jumped out at me like it was the only thing on the page.

And all at once, everything fit. The block I had in moving forward vanished as though it had never been there. I know exactly the structure that I’ll be using, I know exactly how everything I’d been planning fits in, and I know exactly how to incorporate all of the other cool stuff I was thinking that I’d love to somehow involve.

It answers every single question I had, and every one I keep coming up with. The planning has been simple – now the real work begins.

I believe in jumping in with two feet. I believe in the creativity and tenacity of every entrepreneur, guy or girl with an idea, and free spirit trapped in the corporate rat race. I believe being terrified is most often the beginning of something great. And I believe that you’ve never even dreamed of all that is possible.
